Small city center. St. Barbara's cathedral is spectacular. Not a lot more to do in the city. 1 day was enough for us to get the feel of this city and to appreciate the quietness. We traveled by car.

Kutna Hora is easy to get to from the Main Railway Station...
Kutna Hora is easy to get to from the Main Railway Station in Prague. Journey time is about one hour. You need to take a taxi from the station to the center of town...or a bus... Plenty of interesting things to see their...some nice forest walks, very good restaurants. A welcome relief from the crowds of Prague. Worth staying at least a couple of nights

Beautiful old town. came here for the Sedlec ossuary but didnt realise the town itself was so charming and historic. If you enjoyed the sights of Prague you will enjoy here too. much smaller level and less touristed but well worth a visit.

I can imagine someone not interested in visiting churches and not liking the crowds of high season not being thrilled, but most of the people are still friendly and I'm sure there are little delights that could be found for longer stays.

Due to snowy weather and traffic problems, arrived later (17:45) than planned, so not really time to look around the town. Went out for dinner. Immediately after breakfast had to leave to return to the airport. Even though we paid Booking.com online at the time of booking. When checking out, they insisted that we had not paid. It was wonderful, and the view out our window was amazing. Had drinks in the terrace overlooking the town and was mesmerized! Practically next door to St Barbara Cathedral. Really good breakfast included in the price. I’m kicking myself for not planning more days in this beautiful town and lovely hotel.
